Arugula Seed

Any luck planting bok choy and arugula seeds in July?
I realize that bok choy and arugula are happiest in cool weather, but I was wondering if anyone has had any success planting these seeds this time of year, and any advice as to keeping the plants from overheating (and thus bolting).
I live in zone 4, but even here it can get very hot in the summer.
I'm in zone 6 and it's way too hot in July so I'm waiting until mid August or early September. Both plants like much cooler weather.

How should I keep Arugula seeds for planting next Spring? Dry them individually or in the pod, or what?
We have harvested some Arugula seeds from plants we grew this summer, and would like to plant the seeds next Spring. How should we treat them for planting? They are in pods. Should we dry them outside the pod, or plant the entire pod?
Either way if fine as long as you keep them cool and dry and not in the sunlight, I also keep mine in airtight containers to keep any moisture out. Come Spring plant away and Good Luck
