Could you help me identify if I need a new ballast?
Could you help me identify the ballast I need? I have an enclosed outdoor sign with three vertical florescent tubes, I think it's the ballast.
I have all new tubes and the first one glows close to orange at the ends, the second glows orange on one end, and the third does nothing.
Please help, I will buy the recommended items to resolve this issue.

probably one of 2 things. when you install the new tubes they have to sit in an exact manner. Slide the prongs on the tube into the fixture and turn them 90 degrees, and they are seated properly. Sometimes when one of the tubes is not in properly the other will not light up. You may not have the correct tubes. Did you take one of the old ones with you when you purchased the new ones? If you don't have one and you're not sure you have the right ones, see if a neighboring business might let you look at their's to see what type you need
