Gal Reservoir Bottom
2001 grand prix low coolant light on. Overflow reservoir was empty, but radiator full. Temp went up a bit.?
In dec. of 07 had remove & replace pan gasket & filter. Flushed cooling system & heater core, new thermostat & gasket, new bottom radiator hose 2 hose clamps 1 trans filter, 1 radiator hose, 1 thermostat & gasket, along with 2 gallons dex-cool & 2 gal. dexron III. Any ideas in the problem? The engine does smell warm.
Could be the water pump is on its way out,or a stopped up water jaket,but it's probably the pump,or the stat that was put in it was a bum stat and may be sticking a bit.
