Can you help me understand a few stanzas in Sylvia Plath's, 'Daddy'?

I know this is a complicated poem from the get go, and I've been doing a good job of figuring it out myself, but Its just these two stanzas that I can't really understand... Is 'marble-heavy' supposed to be in reference to the statue? What is 'a bag full of God'? Any thoughts?

Daddy, I have had to kill you.
You died before I had time---
Marble-heavy, a bag full of God,
Ghastly statue with one gray toe
Big as a Frisco seal

And a head in the freakish Atlantic
Where it pours bean green over blue
In the waters off the beautiful Nauset.
I used to pray to recover you.
Ach, du.

I really like this poem because when you know her biography, it explains so much about her struggles in life.
Because interpreting poetry is somewhat an opinion, I can't be sure this is what she meant, but I would definetly say that the marble heavy refers to the statue, which is her father in the poem. He is hard and cold towards her, looming over her and seemingly heartless. It also shows the amount of awe and possibly fear she felt towards the father.
" A bag full of God" most likely refers to him, and continues that idea by showing how important, what a huge figure he was in her life, to be looked up to and possibly worshipped but at the same time feared.
It shows how she was twisted between loving, needing, and hating him. She couldn't live repressed and in fear with him, but she couldnt live without him standing over her... if you get what I'm saying...

Hope that helps somewhat!
