Anythng indoor is going to be anything but cheap...lots of special lighting needed...also it's easily picked up by the police with their infra cameras.
If it's fruit that you're after, best to have a southwest orientation.
Indoor fruits don't grow too well in Ireland because of the climate.

Hydroponic gardening is the greatest thing since frozen peas. Seriously, hydroponic gardening is growing plants without the use of soil. You only use water and nutrient solution. Light and air play a major role as well. But the point of the matter is you can grow some really wild plants just by using hydroponic gardening.
Most people think that growing a garden means that it is something that you have to do outdoors. Well, typically taking your plants outdoors is a necessity. We just simply do not have the room in the house for all of our garden plants to grow. Wrong! Indoor hydroponic gardening is all the rage! It is now very easy to be able to have our very own personal hydroponic garden inside the house. They are extremely space saving and more time efficient than you think. All you need is to do a little research on indoor hydroponic gardening and find the system that is right for you.
There are a wide variety of kits available at any lawn and garden store. If you are unable to find what you are looking for there, there are plenty of websites that also sell these hydroponic kits and can help you decided which kit is best suited for your growing needs. You can also find all the lighting and nutrient solutions that are necessary for a healthy indoor hydroponic gardening experience. Hydroponic gardening is really very simple. You grow your plants in water. Most people who decide to endeavor in an indoor hydroponic gardening experience opt to utilize a greenhouse. This way they do not have all of their plants taking up room in the house.
There are many different kits for hydroponic gardening available. Some of the most common ones are the deep water culture kit and the ebb and flow kit. Most people choose to use the ebb and flow kit when building an indoor hydroponic garden. This is the easier method of growing all of your favorite produce with indoor hydroponic gardening. It is simple to control the plants’ intake of nutrient solution and maintain a proper balance of all the components.
One thing that a person who endeavors to complete the indoor hydroponic gardening experience should remember is that you need to make sure that you get the proper nutrient solution for the plants that you want to raise. Different solutions will only help certain types of plants. Some will only promote flowering on plants that produce flowers to produce fruits. Others may only stimulate root development.
My suggestion is to find someone that you know who has hydroponic gardening experience, and ask them about it. Most people who practice indoor hydroponic gardening are very knowledgeable and can give you good advice about it. If you do not know of anyone that has a hydroponic garden, then you can also turn to the Internet for suggestions and advice.
