Habanero Hot
Super chili, pepper habanero, hungarian hot wax?
I have these three peppers planted for about a month, but Im not sure how mature they already were when I bought them. Im not sure which plant is which pepper. One is about 6 inches high, no buds on it. One is about 9 inches high with buds that turn into white flowers and the flowers fall off and green peppers are starting grow one is already about half an inch long. One plant is about a foot high with no buds. The leafs on all of them are pretty similar so Im not sure how to explain any differences. My question is when can I expect the peppers to grow on the two that arent producing any. Is something wrong that they arent growing yet? On some of the plants the stem or whatever is starting to look almost bark like....
You're just going to have to wait, but I must say I love your choice of peppers. Those Hungarians will definitely toast your tongue! They're really good when roasted on the grill.
Some people don't agree, but I give my peppers a lot of manure and a lot of water, and I always have more peppers than I can consume.
Peppers do have a "bark" which forms as they mature, so that's no cause for concern.
