How much to pay for a part-timer?


I m help a friend to look for a part-timer for a kiosk who sell drinks, what can i find a part-timer? and how much should my friend pay for a part-timer per hour?

Based on my experience, ya betul according to Daniel most part timers are paid RM3.50-4.00 something but that's for most kiosk.

If those like Coffee Beans & imported products etc. thn. they do get paid more. You hv. to evaluate the products you're selling & also the (work) experience of those part timers.
If it's normal fruits & local products etc. thn. RM2.80-RM4.00 is ok. Especially if it's youngsters e.g. PMR, SPM etc.
Usually during weekends, after 6-8hours thn. additional pay.
During public holidays double or even triple pay. Not only will they work harder, they will be more willing to put in the effort because of the reward.

So it just depends lah. Start wth min. wage, once the kiosk biz. picks up thn. upgrade the manpower & pay lor.

You can write/type & print out & stick at your target areas (where the kiosk biz. is located) malls, bus stops, schools.
