HOMEADE HYDROPONIC NUTES ?
I was wondering if anyone out there had any recipes for homeade hydroponic nutrients or a mix from ready available water soluble fertilizers etc found at ya local garden stores
I've never figured this one out, and I've tried. The minor trace nutrients you'd need come in 100 pound bags (costing hundreds or thousands of dollars), and you'd practically have to be a chemist as well. The only person I knew who perfected this went on to become a millionaire, producing a line of hydroponic plant nutrients. I've also seen people try organic recipes, and those generally turn foul-smelling within a couple weeks or so. This is one of the reasons I quit growing hydroponically - it's too much easier to garden in soil that's of good quality.

Where in NY can i find floragro?
Is there anywhere i can get floragro(hydroponic nutrient)? Any store chain like Wal-mart? Like anywhere around kingston, saugerties or albany?
This store is located in Ballston Spa
We have it in quarts, Gallons, and 2.5 gallon sizes.

Directions:
From the North:
From I-87 take exit 13S onto US RT9. Head south approx ½ mile to traffic light. Turn Right onto Malta Ave. Continue west on Malta Ave for 3-4 miles into Ballston Spa Village. At traffic light, (Intersection of Malta Avenue & RT 50), take left onto RT 50 (Milton Ave). Travel south approx 1/10 mile. Turn Right onto Front Street. The store is 1/10 mile on the right, directly across from Wiswall park.
From the South:
Take exit 12 off I-87. Left off exit ramp.Follow Rt.67 West approximately 3 miles to the intersection of Rt.50(traffic light). Turn Right onto Rt.50 North to Ballston Spa. At 2nd traffic light turn left onto Front St. The store is 1/10 mile on Right #38.
This should do it for you.
