You can do pretty much what ever you want with them. They are non toxic. If you decide to glue them, use a silicon sealant that is aquarium safe. You should cut them in lenghts of 8-14". The female should be able to hide from the male and have room to take off if he decides to take a peek. I would recommend 4 or 5.

Schoolies should be arriving in less than a month! I might splurge and upgrade my rod holder on my kayak (PVC pipe on a milk crate) to that fancy one he has. It would be nice not to have to reach back.
