Hydroponics Watering Cycle
what is the recomended watering cycle for hydroponics?
The system is a top feed system with vemiculite as the growing medium. I should have mixed 50/50 vemiculite and perlite but anyway didn't. The reseviour holds 27 ltrs of solution and will run continuousley with this much in it although 9 ltrs is all that is recomended so i'm thinking, run the resevior dry, then leave it till it all drips back then pump it out again. I did use soil once and just watered with thrive and everything went really well, just thought i'd have a go with real hydro nutrients etc...
Your question is to vague .There are many different types of hydro systems.Ebb & flow systems.are on a continuous watering cycle.The same is true with a deep water culture system.Then there is the top feed system, the nutrient film technique, aeroponics, and many more. You might be better off growing in soil.
