what is the standard height for pendant lights from floor to bottom of light housing?
this is to go over the dining table
"Pendants and Chandeliers, when used over dining surfaces, should be suspended approximately 30 inches above the table in an eight-foot-high room, and raised three inches for each additional foot of ceiling height." This is a direct quote from the Interior Design book I used for my design classes. Basically the average is 30-36 inches above the table.
