Digital Grow Light
im thinking about getting a perm, but i don't really know anything about them ha ha,?
like, i dont know the names and stuff.
i the effects of a digital perm, but, my hair is about at my underarms and im not asian. my hair isnt thick its more on the medium/thin side and if i leave it alone its not completly straight. ive only had hi-lights once so i dont need to worry about chemicals and stuff. but what should i do to get hair like the pictures ill show you using perms, and what type of perm, and how long do you think i should grow my hair if i need to?

over all, loose curls, or waves kind of a beach wave. and dont tell me to scrunch it cause it just looks bad cause i have no curl to scrunch haha.

Photography studio...need some advice on getting started!?
I have a Cannon digital Rebel XS, and I love it!
I started with just taking random pictures of random things and it somehow grew into a small business! Usually, I take pictures (portraits etc.) outside, but now that the leaves have fallen and the weather has gone cold, I need a place indoors for all my shoots! I am not sure where to begin! I know Im going to need the right lighting, a few backdrops and some props, so here is my question: does anyone have some good tips for web sites or stores, and what is some of the lighting that I will need? Also, I am looking into getting a new lens(es) so what are some good lenses for someone in my position? One more thing, Im not rich, and I am on a pretty limited budget.....SO PLEASE ANY HELP WOULD BE INCREDIBLE!!!!

OK, well that is way too big a question to answer in this context. To learn all about lighting, you need to check out Strobist.com (I am not affiliated with the site, but is the best for strobe lighting out there). First you'll learn that you know nothing about lighting (as I did when I first read it) but after a while you will start picking up tips. It is all very expensive though so you can try searching amazon for some inexpensive lighting kits.
You can also set up less expensive lighting by using cheap fixtures and CPF bulbs that are daylight adjusted.
I too have a Rebel and often use the Canon 50mm 1.8 lens for portraits. It lets in a lot of light (good for indoors) and gets great narrow DOF. And it is less than $100. You can check out my blog for more tips. Most of the photos on it use that 50mm lens!
