Military Joke: Barracks Door?
The manager hired a new secretary. She was young, sweet, and polite.
One day while taking dictation, she noticed his fly was open. While leaving the room, she courteously said, "Oh sir, did you know that your barracks door was open." He did not understand her remark, but later on happened to look down and saw that his zipper was open.
He decided to have some fun with his new employee.
Calling her in, he asked, "By the way, Miss Jones, when you saw my barracks door open this morning, did you also see a soldier standing at attention?"

Chihuahua with seperation anxiety and gets destructive?
I have a 5 year old chihuahua that is the most mellow dog, when he is with somebody. I'm at work during the day and need to keep him confined otherwise he pees all over the house because he doesn't want to be left alone. I tried putting him in a metal kennel, he chewed on it so much that he knocked his teeth out, then I tried the bathtub but he would keep getting his nails stuck in the door trying to open it. Then I tried leaving him in the bedroom and he ripped up the carpet trying to dig under the door. Then I tried a canvas material type kennel and he ate the zipper off of it. I've tried everything, I don't know what to do!! Please help! He is potty trained but pees in the house when he is by himself out of anger.
I agree with unholy ghost. Also, have you tried a DAP diffuser? It simulates the mommy pheromone and calms your doggie down. There's also rescue remedy, a blend natural herbs that really help.
Also, is she the center of attention when your around her? Does she follow you from room to room? does she bring you toys so that you will play with her? If so, you might want to try ignoring her every other time she comes to you.
My rottie, Stella suffers from tremendous sep anxiety, and I got a trainer that has helped us tremendously with these tips.
Please, please, please do not put your dog on medication. The side effects are REALLY bad. It's only to be used as a last resort.

Is this the correct way to bleach jeans light blue?
"Do it outside. Lay down a tarp of some kind underneath to avoid getting bleach everywhere. Mix bleach and water together in a bowl or bucket, about half and half. Since you want the shorts to be all white, it doesn't really matter how you apply the bleach. splash on the bleach and let it soak in, turn over the jeans and do it on the other side. make sure you get a bit in the pockets and around the buttons and zipper area. When they are the color you desire, throw them in the washing machine by themselves."
And how much bleach & water used? and how to apply bleach
Just put them in the washer on low setting. Let the washer fill up and agitate. Add 3 cups of bleach and 1/8th cup laundry detergent. Le4ave the lid up and let it run the wash cycle. Reset machine and run cycle one more time with the lid open. Turn off machine and let the jeans soak overnight. In the morning start wash and let it finish. Throw jeans in the dryer. If you want them lighter repeat the process.

1.) why do the radiation coming from the sun coming in parallel rays?
2.) Why each spherical object in the solar system is almost exactly half covered by the light at any given instant?
3.) Explain why the terminator (the line between daylight and darkness) is so sharp?
To the guy who thinks of light as ripples in a pond. light is an electromagnetic wave made up of two perpendicular wave components (the could be considered x and y) that propogates along an axis(z).... if light traveled outward in all directions, no object would be opaque. light would be absorbed and re-emitted in all directions by each and every atom until it had passed through the object. furthermore, a single photon could span vast reaches of space. all optical equipment known to man(including our own eyes) would be unable to distinguise the direction of the source of any photon. This is simply not true.(and i've only brought up a few of the many many problems that would be caused if light acted as a ripple)
now, to answer your question.
the ratio of the distance between the earth and the sun, and the diameter of the sign(the maximum distance between two photons emitted from the sun that could reach earth) is so large that the lines apear parallel.
an object is almost exactly half covered by light because geometrically half of the spherical object can be "seen" from the sun. you could imagine the planets in 2 dimensions as circles with a frount and a back. only one side can be facing the sun (and thus, able to be reached by light) at once.
the terminator is so thin because the "grey area" caused by and diffraction, reflection is relatively small compared to the area that is fully lit or fully dark.

Will it really make it light? should i do it? Is the change instant?
I used sun-in a few years ago when i had medium brown hair. i sprayed it on in the morning and went to school and kids would tell me that my hair was getting lighter instantly! i used a little bit every couple of days and the change was definitely noticeable. my hair got much lighter. BUT.. eventually it stopped working its magic and my hair was getting a little orange, ok... a lot orange. haha. so i'd just go to your stylist and lighten up those highlights the better way!
