How does the tube light gets on? Also explain how does it conduct light?
please explain how does the tube light gets on with the help of condensor(capacitor) and what does that choke do,is it a inductor? And how does tube light conduct light?
You are talking about fluorescent lights. The "choke" you refer to is called the ballast; it is simply an inductor that serves two purposes: starting and current limiting. During starting, the starter switch closes and then opens a series circuit that includes the inductor and the filaments (heaters) in the tube(s). [See link below]. If the AC power supply happens to be at a reasonable voltage when the circuit opens, the inductor generates a high voltage across itself (due to the rapid change of current) which helps to break down the mercury vapor in the tube and start the arc. If not, the process repeats, causing the initial flashing when the light is turned on.
The capacitor, if included, is simply for radio-frequency interference (RFI) suppression. It does not help start the light; in fact, it limits the voltage slightly.
Once the arc has started in the tube, the ballast limits the current through the tube because of its inductive reactance. Otherwise, the tubes would use excessive power and possibly even explode if the power was not limited by a fuse or circuit breaker.
The tube does not "conduct" light. The arc through the mercury vapor causes it to ionize and emit light at several spectral lines, some of which are in the ultraviolet range. The UV light excites a phosphor coating the inside of the glass tube, causing it to glow with the color you see from the outside.

I've seen in more backyard wrestling people using light tubes and it looks like it cuts you up sometimes. And ive heard it has mercury and you could get poisoning from it.
