White Reflector
nikon d40x external flash and reflector?
I have a nikon d40x and i want to know what external flash should i buy...
i take both outdoor/indoor pictures.. sometimes up to 4-5 persons (family portraits) and most of the time just 1 maybe 2
also im looking to buy a refletor.. but i dont know
which one will be more suitable for me
i heard that a gold or white will be better
I dont own Nikon but I hear good things about the SB-600, if you have the cash the SB-800 is higher powered. But the 600 should do well enough. If you ever decide to go off camera the 600 can slave to an 800, but thats a different topic.
With relfectors get a 5-in-one. You will get gold, sun (kind of a warm gold) silver, black, and white. The white on mine can also be a diffuser. You will want one thats big enough but not too big.

Telescope buying question?

Considering the low costs of telescopes these days, a 50mm or 75mm reflector is extremely small and relatively worthless as far as telescopes go. And considering the price of the one you mentioned, I would be very suspicious of its quality and optics.
Try going to OrionTelescopes.com and take a look there. I would trust them more than someone selling on eBay. They have a similar telescope called the SpaceProbe 3 EQ. It's $99. Or a Orion Observer 60mm Refractor for the same price.
I have dealt with Orion before and trust their quality. And the refractor telescope might be a little easier to use for the beginner.

I’m with you – front white blinky and red rear blinky (also PB Superflash) day or night. At night I supplement a “to see” headlight but it’s not very necessary on my commute.I honestly think that motorists who see me blinking and flashing a mile away assume I’m a police officer!(it also doesn’t hurt that my bike is blue and black, and I’m often wearing black or grey pants and a blue shirt)I also recently added a big patch of white reflective tape to my head tube, and red to my rear fender ( to replace the long gone OEM reflectors), and bought a set of Schwalbe Marathon tires with reflective sidewalls. i might look like a UFO, but I’ll be seen!
